We are minimalists by nature. As the harvest moon aligns itself with Saturn, the cosmic energy is channeled through the sacred de-vining rod, pointing the way to the individual grape clusters which will most readily yield their intoxicating juices to the gentle urgings of the press. Fermentation takes place inside of 4th century urns, sealed with pitch from the original Cedar of Lebanon and lined with Mesopotamian gold. Judicious aging in barrels of African Baobab is followed by light fining with pulverized black Hiroge pearls and filtering through the finest weave of Shinshu silk sourced from the northern province of Wan Fu. Bottling is done in conjunction with the flowering of the tropical Maracudja, the pollen of which fills the air above the wine and is said to excite the libidinous longings of all who dare touch said wine to unwary lips.

2000 Scarlet Harlot Grenache
A Grenache of easy virtue. Value: 2 bushels of Cambodian Lychees. Lascivious, bordering on wanton; teasing with promises of youthful excess, which only those of us who continue to dream of the unattainable can truly fathom. An armless embrace, a ruby cloud descending over naked yearning, seduced by Ivresse, the incubus of all who reach beyond the ravages of sobriety.
