Lockwood Oaks Vineyard is located in the Historic San Antonio Valley of southern Monterey county. The home of Gold Medal winning Bordeaux style wine grapes. Also noted for the oldest wine producing mission in California, Mission San Antonio. Southern Monterey county is "SO HOT, IT'S COOL".

2001 Cabernet Sauvignon
Southern Monterey Cabernet Sauvignon. 2002 Gold Medal Winner at California State Fair. Big, bold red wine with hint of pomegranate aroma and critic flavor. Balanced oak. This 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon has won several awards in home winemaking competitions including the Gold Medal of Cabernet Sauvignon at the California Mid State Fair in 2002. Made from a Bordeaux style clone #337, the wine exhibit s a dense purple color, a sweet mouse of cassis and plum with layer of current, black cherry and blackberry, medium to full body, it's tangy tannin carries through the concentrated finish.
